Review: This is one of my absolute favorite destination spas in the country, and I've been to many. From the minute you pull up to the gate at Woodloch until the minute you leave, you are at peace and in the ultimate state of tranquility. Though my husband and I live about 30 minutes south of The Lodge at Woodloch, we've done both overnights and, more frequently, day spa experiences. We try to get to Woodloch once per quarter, as our schedules allow. Every service I've had has been nothing short of phenomenal: facials, deep tissue massages with aromatherapy and scrubs, hot and cold stone treatments, mani/pedis, salt water floats. The therapists are highly knowledgeable and aim to please. . Following treatments, we head to the eucalyptus sauna, the massaging waterfall, the infinity pool overlooking the beautiful grounds, the snow room, Himalayan salt sauna, and the Tyrolean bucket. The senses are so heightened. You can physically feel your immune system strengthening as you go through your day. We'll next grab a meal at their restaurant, featuring vegetarian, gluten-free, organic farm to table food options that never disappoint. Pure ingredients throughout. Chef's kiss. 👏🏻 Today, I had a watermelon gazpacho that was to die for, and our server, Myrtis, went above and beyond. It's also totally acceptable to grab your meals in the restaurant with wet hair, and wearing nothing but your spa robes. Many do this, making it easy to transition from spa, to meal, back to spa. For overnights, the rooms can use updating, but they are still spacious, comfortable, and clean. The activities and amenities are endless. Last but not least: this is an adults-only paradise. No screaming, unsupervised, or unruly kids. Totally peaceful environment. All this to say: don't sleep on this hidden gem. Woodloch is definitely a part of my overall dedication to wellness and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
