Review: Pro’s Staff are super courteous and friendly and we were welcomed by each and everyone of them, no matter what they were doing. Big shout out to Marcus who welcomed us at breakfast and dinner each day with a big smile and hand shake. Breakfast buffet was vast (limited for vegans perhaps) choice of juices and hot drinks available for free along with Prosecco. You are able to fill water bottles as we saw many people do this. Free shuttle bus to local town Isola Rossa Several times a day or you could walk the 15min journey… where you can grab Water bottles, wine snacks etc… alternatively you can purchase a small bottle of water for €4 from the hotel. Beach access They have buggies readily available or can be requested via WhatsApp to take you from your rooms to the pool or beach as plenty of steps to navigate from place to place. Day 4 I became ill, the staff recognised my friend was dining alone and asked after me she mentioned I was ill and they offered to pack food at breakfast so she could take it to the room for me. Following day they saw me at breakfast and asked if I was okay or if needed a dr or pharmacy which was really sweet of them. Room The room itself was a bit of a let down, which I have explained in the cons however there was a beach bag and flip flops awaiting for us in the room which we thought was a nice touch. Oh and The towels in the bathroom are amazing. Cons Distance from Olbia airport is 1hr 30 approx which cost us €160 one way with the hotel transfer request, best to book when booking hotel for discount which we didn’t realise, alternatively hire a car. First impressions the hotel didn’t look much of a 5 star as advertised. Our room 119 was definitely an afterthought seemed like it was a little side on extension and looked dated. The Room only had one plug socket- we recommend taking an adapter with multiple usb ports. The bath robes - please check as when I took mine of the hook to wear it had a great big moth attached to it eeeew… naturally I screamed lol Unfortunately the pool was too cold and even in the June sunshine didn’t see many people going in there not whilst we were there anyway. Water - chargeable at €4 and you’re expected to purchase a drink either water or any drink with evening meals even on half board. No animation team apart from a different live local band/singers Nothing much happening locally if you want to do excursions unless you have car you would need to travel to the other-side of the island via a taxi which would cost you €200 before the excursion. Three restaurants for evening meals which served Buffet, a pizzeria and a a la carte restaurant all three we found did not have many vegetarian options (predominantly meat or fish) however we being pescatarians were fine. We scrolled through the views and felt we needed to add a few things to potential holiday makers so they can go prepared. Enjoyable trip nonetheless as I was with my bestie and we tried to make the most of our time there.

Review: We enjoyed a perfect stay at the beautiful Hotel Marinedda Thalasso and Spa. The staff were, without exception, attentive, kind and professional. Our room was kept very clean and enjoyed a pretty sea view. The meals were exceptional. My husband is coeliac and the gluten-free choices were fabulous. There were no issues with cross-contamination. We loved using the spa; the pools; and the beach. We look forward very much to returning. Thank you to all involved, especially Anna, who was truly lovely x
