Review: This is a bakery not cafe. Exciting to choose from a whole bakery. Many options, and other reactive ingredients like dairy free well marked. Read letting sign to understand product labels.

Review: Visiting from the states, after days of watching others enjoy all the savory pastries we found TGFB. absolutely delicious, great variety and no stingy portions that some other GF products offer. The pepper steak pie is incredible and the hard part, the actual pastry is buttery flakey delicious and has all the structure and texture of traditional pastry

Review: Its fabulous to have a dedicated GF bakery; I tried coffee and walnut muffin ( flavourful but a little dry and crumbly), and a mince and cheese pie ( pastry tasted gluey and undercooked, filling tasty but couldn't detect cheese), and the Xmas mince pies (once more tasty but pastry appeared amd tasted a little undercooked). I am yet to try my chocolate muesli bar, and would definitely be back to try more items from the extensive display. The shop is very appealing to the eye and the staff lovely.

Review: 4 pm on the 19th June called in to buy another late lunch on way to Blenheim. Added a spinach swirl loaf. These are usually yummy. Unfortunately selling me a loaf marked best before 20th, late on the end of the 19th is pretty poor. The person serving took it out from the serving counter so would have known it’s Best before date, and should have asked If I wanted it. I didn’t realize till I was on the road, and thought I would have a piece of this loaf. Usually these are soft, but this was rock hard. I was not impressed and I was not anywhere near to Cashmere!!!! So I had to alter my post from an earlier time to let this business know. Consistency of product quality keeps customers coming back! My earlier post: I popped in to buy a late lunch. Got chicken pie from hot cabinet. Was very nice and full of chicken. Highly recommend. The plaited feta and spinach loaf was super tasty! Bought sweets; muffins , and a cinnamon swirl. Enjoyed all. Stock was a bit low at the time I went and quiet.
