Review: Cherbourg Bakery is my first suggestion whenever I meet someone who’s newly diagnosed with celiac or gluten intolerance. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and desperately want to give 5 stars, but can’t overlook a few cleanliness concerns. I know it’s difficult especially during warmer months, but some sort of way to repel bugs (such as fans or air curtains) is needed. I saw several large gross flies landing on and feeding on the products. It really spoils your appetite. Also, employees assemble pastry boxes and papers with bare hands in between handling the cash and checkout tablet. Besides these two issues, everything is great. It’s hard to spend less than $25 per visit because of so many appealing choices. Even my gluten eating friends and family say the espresso brownies and chocolate chip cookies are better than “regular” desserts.

Review: Always gluten and nut free. Always charming. Always delightful. By far the best GF baked goods in greater Columbus. The carrot cake is a must!

Review: Wow!! First time in today. The workers were extremely helpful and kind, but more importantly, the baked goods were amazing! It’s hard to believe they were gluten free, they were so delicious. I like that they weren’t overwhelmingly sweet either, I don’t normally eat sugar, and I didn’t feel bad after all after my little binge.
