Review: I was excited to bring my daughter here for her birthday, as the restaurant had been recommended to us. Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfying. The service was great, but the food very disappointing. We started with the cucumber salad. The cucumbers were rubbery, and the salad had a stale taste, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a couple of days. My expensive burger was one of the worst I've ever had. The meat was overcooked, dry, and crumbly. The gluten-free bun was stale, and flavorless. My macaroni salad was a gloppy pile of mush and mayonnaise. On a better note, my daughter's salmon bowl was good, but overly salty.

Review: We are vegan and announced this to our server right away. We ordered the"clarified" margaritas, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato tacos, kabocha curry, and macadamia and carrot salad. The Brussels were not even a little bit crispy, which was disappointing. Flavor was good. The tacos were more mushroom than ube, and mushrooms were supposed to be "confit" but were more steamed. Flavor was good. The kabocha curry was equal parts kabocha, spinach, cauliflower, ube, and red pepper. The largest component on the plate was eggplant, which was not even mentioned on the menu. Rice was about 1/4 cup, so ratio was too little for the plate. Flavor was good. Macadamia nut salad should have been called "spring mix citrus salad with almonds." Flavor was good but should have been $10 max. Lastly, upon complimenting the server for recommending the margaritas, he said they are marinated over night in milk, and then they strain out the curdles to clarify. This wouldn't be a problem for an omnivore, but when the server knows we're vegan, he should have told us about the milk contamination. If the owner is reading this, stick some frozen Impossible patties in your freezer so vegetarians can enjoy your burgers. Also kabocha skin is edible, so no need to peel.

Review: I love this place! I’ve been a few times and everything I’ve tried is delicious. I wouldn’t even guess that it’s gluten free. The employees are also very kind. Highly recommend! The only thing I would love to see more of - more fun non-alcoholic options. Creative mocktails, cocktails with non-alc spirits, and/or non-alc wine would be great additions to the vibe!

Review: This place rockssssss. I'll be the first to say how much I love my gluten so I was a little skeptical at first but honestly the food was so good I wish more restaurants cooked like this. Not to mention the atmosphere, which has this neat junglelike vibe and makes you feel like you're somewhere closer to the equator. The drinks were pretty good but nothing to write home about. Will be at the top of my list when going to grab a casual bite.
