Review: Avec Amoore is a local woman-owned business that is 100% GLUTEN FREE! They even have some other items that are vegan too! When we went in, the owner and an employee greeted us. I had my two kids with me and the owner, Nana -or- Ms. Cheree, was ELATED. She ran to the back to grab her special heart-shaped mini cakes she has on hand for Littles. She was absolutely endearing. I was there to pick up something delicious for my gluten free/dairy free friends, and they were SO EXCITED. The mini cakes we got were the spice, and a vanilla. Everyone around the table agreed that they were so delicious, and nobody could believe that they were GF/DF. Please stop in and visit Nana Cheree, she is a DOLL. And take your kids, she will get starry-eyed and adore them too, your kids might even ask if nana can babysit, like mine did!

Review: Shari is amazing! Sweetest person ever!!! I called at 4:20pm & asked what time they close, she stated 4pm. I started panicking because I needed gluten free dessert for my son’s birthday (last minute). She stated come on in & she will help me & that the door will be locked, so just knock and she would let me in. I went in. She had 8 cupcake's ready for me and I ended up getting nine. I can tell you that they are amazing. Gluten-free is new to my family, but the cupcakes are to die for! Everything in the bakery looks so delicious including the homemade bread. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much, Shari!!!!!

Review: So... my hope is they can get all the new business kinks worked out since there is such a need for a gluten free bakery in the Phoenix area. I'm hoping my experience was the result of unplanned employee absence. We visited on 12/30. Their website said they only make croissants once/month and today was the day. We arrived at 9:50 for a 10:00 opening and there was already a line. We were told croissants wouldn't be ready until after 11. The door opened at 10:15 and the only items available were cinnamon buns, brownies, and a few other pastries. The bakery cases were pretty empty. Not much at all. I ordered 2 cinnamon buns and a brownie... all were pretty dry. I ordered a scone and waited about 5 more minutes for that to come out of the oven. Was absolutely the best scone I've ever had. We drove 25 minutes one way specifically to try this bakery. We won't do that again but if we're in the area I might stop again. The two front end employees were very nice and the shop is cute inside. They also serve coffee and tea.
