Review: When in Philly, is it not a requirement to have a cheesesteak? Might I recommend Campo's? Fresh gluten-free rolls from one of two local bakeries (whomever answers the phone, according to the nice young woman behind the counter). It is a rather steep $5.50 upcharge for gf, but the seeded rolls that my kids had were quite good. The regular rolls were also good. Campo's offers an assortment of cheesesteaks to choose from (although isn't there only one true style?). My wife had a very untraditional turkey club wrap (which she said she would get again). Campo's offers seating both inside and outside, and has a selection of beverages including beer. (I didn't look for wine, but seriously would anyone drink wine with a cheesesteak?) Enjoy your sandwich.
