Review: I’m so happy there are more food and drink spots moving into South Salt Lake. This place is absolutely adorable, the service was really great, they have a variety of options. Their drink menu is reasonably priced and includes a couple local brewery and distillery options. If you have food allergies, Contento and their staff were careful and took the time to ask questions. They are a seed free oil and gluten free kitchen. While I had high hopes that the food would taste as good as it looks, but it didn’t. I got the shrimp tacos, and appearance wise, they are beautiful. The shrimp were nice sized shrimp, but were a bit over cooked and lacked seasoning (even though appeared well seasoned). Their salsa verde was really good, and helped add flavor. I was unimpressed with the rice and beans, they need more flavoring too. Maybe skip the meal and go for solo tacos instead! Look forward to trying other things on the menu!
