Review: After eating at Charro Steak & Del Rey the night before, I wanted to check out El Charro and the Carne Seca. We ended up getting the Carne Seca Platter and the Ceviche Salad to split between two people. It was a nice combination. The Carne Seca was delicious. Definitely unique and tasty. It reminded me of Asian Pork Floss, but with beef. The Ceviche Salad was also good. I would come back if I'm in the area again. Metered street parking readily available near the restaurant.

Review: Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I came by for lunch on a Wednesday as several reviews mentioned how busy it gets in the evening. No issues with getting a seat at all then. I ordered the Bandera Enchilada platter since it had 3 different kinds of enchiladas and I found the carne seca to be my favorite. I also enjoyed the Spanish rice, charro beans, and calabecitas. Service was fast and friendly and I will definitely be back for more—perhaps a burrito or chimichanga with the carne seca meat as it had such an interesting flavor.
