Review: I loved my stay at the Inn. I was traveling solo and stayed in the Washington Cottage - a lovely space with a comfy king sized bed, small desk and chair, fireplace, heated bathroom floors, spa tub, lovely outdoor seating area. Room came with comfy robes, a welcome half-bottle of wine, a keurig, and a small fridge with waters and seltzers. The grounds are beautiful throughout the location. There are common areas you can access with a code, though I stayed mostly to myself. As others have said, I didn’t see many people during my stay, but I didn’t need to - I was welcomed when I arrived; each morning my incredible breakfast (accommodating my vegetarian diet) was delivered to my room; and any request I had (from laundry needs, to a room refresh, additional water, etc) was accommodated. The location is a short walk from downtown Napa. I will be back!

Review: This was our second stay at Inn on Randolph and the food and service has gone downhill tremendously. When we stayed six years ago, we had gourmet chicken and waffles, migas, and pancakes. The chef at the time, Dianne King, was incredible! This year the chef was someone who also fixed things in the cabins, so he appeared to have more than one job, which is fine, if you do all roles well. Breakfast consisted of sauteed vegetables and lentils, along with burnt muffins, eggs, and a measly piece of bacon or sausage. While vegetables are gluten free, they are not my ideal breakfast, especially on vacation. We had asked to have the same chicken and waffles we had from our previous stay, and he did not even know what that dish was when we stayed, which clued us in that this was not the same chef. We asked the chef for something different, and he was very kind and tried, but the food was inedible. I have had better frozen, gluten free waffles from a grocery store. We had to spend more money to buy breakfast out each morning. During our five night stay, we never saw anyone other than the chef. We needed help several times for various issues, such as the key code to get into our room not working. But anytime we went to the main house to look for someone, there was a sign that said, "Innkeeper gone for the day." We never saw the innkeeper, so not sure she was ever there. We emailed Sally, about our concerns, and she was very delayed in responding (about a week), and very rude and condescending. She also promised to fix something with the price of our reservation, and then stopped responding to emails, so she never amended the price as she promised. The place had the feel of an Air BnB this time, not the friendly, homey inn with incredibly attentive and kind staff as it was six years ago. Chef King used to have freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby and there was warm, friendly staff to greet you. Understandably, Covid changed how some inns and hotels operate, but there is just no excuse for poor customer service, especially in the hospitality industry.

Review: First time staying here. First time in Napa. Celebrating our anniversary. We stayed in the Franklin cottage. There is a side entrance and parking for this cottage off of Laurel St. There is electric car charging and 3 additional spaces plus 1 handicap space next to this cottage, the Fowler and I can't remember the one adjoining our cottage. Upon arrival we had a half bottle of Chardonnay, classes a note and wine opener on a try at the foot of our bed. The cottage was spacious, with a king side bed, desk, dresser, and seating area. The room has a Keurig, small fridge and wine cooler. The bathroom was very spacious, with heated floors and separate ceiling heater/fan. There is a pedestal sink so no vanity space. They do have a small shelf below the mirror and a corner shelf to put items. There is also a 2 person jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. We were brought breakfast to our cottage every morning between 8:00-8:30(complimentary). I believe it was all gluten free. It was delicious , and non-traditional breakfast but traditional at the same time. The location of the Inn is great. It could be in walking distance but we drove to downtown as it was a little chilly. It was super easy to get to hwy 29 to get to Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga etc. Within a mile or so there is also Target, In n Out, gas stations, liquor stores etc. The neighborhood is quiet. We felt safe. The grounds of the property are clean and well kept. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Inn on Randolph and highly recommend it. We would no doubt stay here again.
