Review: I have been looking for a good bakery since I moved to Lansing a few yrs ago. I live in downtown so I'd been hearing about this place, so I had to check it out. I got 2 cupcakes (red velvet & 2 carrot cake). The texture was dense in both but very delicious. I saw where they had food but I was just there for the sweets. I highly recommend and I believe it's minority owned which is even better. I like to support my people and patronage them as much as I can. I see they do offer gluten free options but I wasn't looking for that, I wanted the real thing.

Review: We did a couples cooking class, and it was FANTASTIC. We all had a blast, the food was 😋 delicious and the staff was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is lovely. Also, if you or your child has nut or dairy allergies, the vegan desserts are delicious! I can't recommend this place enough!

Review: Big thanks to the Sweet Encounter Bakery team for pulling together this last minute cake for my daughter's second birthday! They were very accommodating to my specific requests and very friendly. We have people in our family that are both gluten intolerant and have dairy allergies so thank goodness this bakery exists! We will be back again soon. 😊

Review: Absolutely great experience working with Nikki and her team for our wedding desserts. Everything was so delicious and a real big hit with our guests. Many were shocked when they found out everything is gluten free! Highly recommend even if you are not gluten sensitive!
