Review: A quaint location with Vietnamese cuisine, served vegan style! A unique concept as Vietnamese foods typically contain meat and are not vegan-friendly. The servers were accommodating as one of them answered my queries and surprise surprise, they accept cash! The Kind Pho was alright, not worth the hype. It lacked that heartiness which is what this dish should exude. Also, the noodles was excessive. Luckily, the soup portion was sufficient and flavourful. Fried Dumplings was crispy on the outside and the filling hits the right spot! The mushroom was a particular standout with its slippery feel that added texture to the crispiness. The coffee was a little too strong, perhaps more oat mylk could have been added in? Certain seating may be awkward as there is no door/glass partition so it feels exposed if you were to have your back to the walkway. The strange part was when I was handed a buzzer to inform me when my dishes would be ready. No other patron was asked to literally walk up to the counter and retrieve their meals…Even when I went up, the server did not assist me and merely let me bring them back on my own when he would personally hand over the other patrons’ at their seats.

Review: Surprisingly good pho considering it was vegan! Broth was deep and robust. I wouldn’t have known the difference if I wasn’t told it was vegan. All the expected aroma of herbs and spices were present too. Had it twice in 3 days! They used mushroom and slivers of deep fried soya bean in place of meat. Had the papaya salad too; which was crunchy and refreshing. Wanted their drip coffee, but found it a tad ex — so skipped.
