Review: We stopped by for a quick bite unaware everything is gluten free. We shared a Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Kolache and were pleasantly surprised. It was tasty, moist and healthy. The mocha was good too. Of course we had to grab a loaf of their sourdough bread and Carrot Spice Muffin. The bread was tasty but a little dry for my like but the muffin was full of flavor. The ambiance is pretty cool and perfect for a small party or gathering (it's right next to a chapel too) I love all the vintage equipment and moody wood and the history of the builder and building is impressive. We will definitely try them out again.

Review: Beautiful food, beautiful space, and beautiful atmosphere. I’ve been here several times now and every experience has been just lovely. They have cultivated a very peaceful and welcoming energy. It’s a dedicated gluten-free bakery, with the most delicious baked goods I’ve found in Pierce County. My favorite is the sausage, egg and cheese kolache.

Review: I wasn't always intolerant to gluten and dairy, so I know what I'm missing. At this bakery, you definitely get what you pay for! The price isn't cheap, but the food is 5 stars! I didn't miss the gluten or dairy. Staff are polite and helpful for first time visitors like me. The atmosphere is cozy in a gorgeous "elevated stables" kind of way. Chairs and tables are separated, leaving a cozy, one-on-one feeling in each nook. They also have plenty of restrooms, which are well maintained.

Review: I'm still smiling about this place. I had heard rumors of a gluten free bakery near Point Defiance, but I was certainly not expecting - well, this. Wren's Nest Baking Co is just incredible. The coffee was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the baked items were tasty and fresh and there were a variety of seating options for each preference (I'm down for little quiet corners, but my kids liked the next room over with open space and happy cafe chatter). Great experience overall 👍🏼👍🏼
