Review: wow, what a revelation! I was passing through the area en route to Durham and happened to see Clair's bakery as a local GF option - outside of Spain I've yet to visit a GF bakery and what a treat it is, such a varied selection of hot foods, savouries and treats. Already looking forward to my next visit to Durham to pay another visit and stop by for lunch and takeaway treats 😋 😊

Review: Amazed by Clair's Gluten Free Bakery! Can't believe it's entirely gluten free and reasonably priced! Been raving about it to everyone! Recommend the devon split in particular - very tasty! The staff are wonderful, so friendly! The soup was delicious, so comforting for a cold Winter’s day!

Review: Amazing! I had a whole menu to choose from.. started with a cheese and back wrap in puff pastry and wow.. Bought two to bring home. Quiche and chips with salad was beautiful, even my non gf son thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We left stuffed and with a carrier full of stuff to being home. Claire is amazing and happy to chat about recipes etc. I cannot recommend highly enough..

Review: Lovely independent bakery and cafe. A great range of vegan and gluten free options. Including vegan cupcakes, cheese cake and mushroom and cheese pastry rolls! Would highly recommend coming up the street for it! Support local and independent! Pictured the mushroom and cheese pastry roll. If your looking for a small, independently ran, local, gluten free, dairy free or vegan cafe this is your place!
