Review: Many fun dipping sauce options. I got the churros along with matcha white chocolate, Irish cream, and hot agave. The first 2 has much thicker, creamy consistency, while hot agave is a thinner syrup. I think 1 dipping sauce is enough for the 3 (maybe 2 for 5 churros). Among the 3 dips I got, you can’t go wrong with matcha white chocolate; the hot agave is fun if you are up for some spicy challenge, also it helps cut down some greasiness of the churros; not a fan of the Irish cream because of the alcohol-like pungent taste, the sweet aftertaste was fine. Update: Also tried these dipping sauce: Honey lavender white chocolate (decent), Ube the top (decent), Dulce De Leche (meh)

Review: Such a delicious and easy concept. The churros are quite large but with 4 of us we went with a 5 piece and added dunkaroo dipping sauce and a dulce de leche dipping sauce. We also got a Smores churro which is half a churro cut up and covered in a marshmallow topping and chocolate sauce and the other half of the churro placed on top. Everything was fantastic and you get quite a bit of dipping sauce so much so we took it home and I used it on some pretzels and they were still delicious the next day. I liked the dulce de leche more than the dunkaroo but only slightly more. The service was good and there are 4 or 5 large tables to sit at even though the restaurant itself is small. Definitely worth going to and enjoying a delicious churro and awesome dips!

Review: The truffle churros had a hint of sweetness but no truffle flavor at all. It was hot and crispy, but the interior was chewy like eating mochi. It was quite different from the churros I had in the Spanish market in Hudson Yards. As for the valentine latte, I am not a fan. The spice mix base added was ok but I guess it had something else in it that left a strong floral aftertaste that wasn’t a good mix with the espresso. Overall, it’s a nice spot to cool off in the area. I’ll try the other drinks they have on menu with plain churros next time.

Review: The staff at El Churro are welcoming and friendly. The space is cute with a few tables and high stools in the back. Now it is city prices but the churros are big. Although they are gluten free it was just as tasty as a churro with gluten. I ordered 3 churros with their honey lavender white chocolate dip. Although creamy, the dip wasn't for me. I'll leave lavender for my hand soap.
