Review: The line as I came in the afternoon was acceptable, around 5-6 people before me. Had to wait for around 15 minutes before I can get inside. Despite the popularity, the shop is very small with barely any room for movements. The choice in the late afternoon were limited, but I still managed to grab an original glazed, white chocolate matcha and pistachio cream. My favourite was unexpectedly the pistachio cream. The light and airy cream was perfectly combined with the subtly nutty pistachio flavour. The dough itself were similar for all donuts. Chewy and quite fluffy, but not as airy as non gluten-free donuts. I now understand the question mark behind the name. Were these donuts life-changing good? Not at all. They are quite pricey for their size, at around 500 yen per piecr. But for a one and done experience, they were justified. Do note that they don‘t accept cash.

Review: ‏Offers a variety of gluten-free, low-sugar donuts that are absolutely delicious. They literally melt in your mouth and you don’t feel guilty enjoying them. The service is excellent and very friendly. The only downside is that there’s no seating area, so it’s takeout only. A great spot for a sweet treat that’s both tasty and guilt-free.

Review: Not sure what the hype is… I’d heard there were lineups at some locations, and we actually walked by two before ending up at a bigger one. The first required us to buy a drink to stay, which we didn’t want, and the second looked more like a pop-up. Inside, the place was pretty and unique, and everything looked good. I had high hopes. I’m not a regular donut person, but I do love specialty donuts like these, so I was excited when I walked in. But after trying them, I didn’t like them at all. I later realized we had gone to the gluten-free location—so I’m not sure if that made a difference. When I’m visiting again, I’ll give it another try at a regular location.

Review: I’m donut is the best donut shop in Tokyo, Japan that you should not miss. So far I have been to the Harajuku, Nakameguro, and Ikebukuro locations. Recently I went to the Shibuya location. Compared with other places, this location is the best. The pros and cons: Shibuya has two locations. One is for gluten-free donuts. This place is just across the street. However, this location has the most flavors and choices. The line at this store is relatively short because it is a little farther from Shibuya Station. The line, however, was kind of slow due to the size of the shop and its limited space. I believe the main reason is that all the donuts look pretty and delicious, so people have a hard time picking what they like. Overall, we bought five different flavors. It is tough to choose which one was the best. Cocoa is always a classic. Lemon is very refreshing. The fig Greek yogurt cream with walnuts was a highlight amongst our five flavors. It’s light and creamy inside. It has a fig filling mixed with Greek yogurt and walnuts. We highly recommend it. I can’t wait to come back again.
