Review: First and foremost, massive 5 stars for the service! The owner was amazing and accommodated us with a stroller. He provided us a semi-closed space and also helped get the stroller in through the right space. We tried both the vegan ramen options as well as the vegan dumplings without the soup. All of these were good. The chili gin and kelp vinegar definitely added a kick to the taste half way through. I’d recommend both the options. The place itself is large, but has a nice vibe!

Review: I had the pleasure of dining at Kyoto Engine Ramen, 京都炎神, and let me tell you - it was an absolute vegan paradise! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The vegan ramen options were mind-blowing in terms of flavor and creativity. Each bowl was packed with delicious, hearty ingredients that left me feeling completely satisfied. Aside from the ramen, I also sampled the veggie dumplings, and they were a true standout. The perfect combination of flavors and textures made these dumplings a must-try for any plant-based eater. My only small critique would be to request a lighter hand with the spring onions - there were quite a few in my bowl, which may be overwhelming for some palates. However, this is a minor issue in comparison to the overall fantastic experience. I must also mention the house-made sauce at Kyoto Engine Ramen - it is truly a game-changer. The bold and delicious flavors added the perfect finishing touch to my meal. And let's not forget about the ginger ale - unlike other diet versions I've tried elsewhere, this ginger ale was a standout with its full-bodied flavor that perfectly complemented my meal. Overall, Kyoto Engine Ramen is a gem for vegans in Kyoto. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. The thoughtfully crafted vegan options and the delectable house-made sauce make this spot a must-visit for any plant-based food enthusiast. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
