Review: We had an absolutely perfect weekend at La Goose! The setting, nestled in the heart of the mountains, is simply magnificent and offers a real change of scenery. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with immense kindness by the whole family, which allayed our concerns about "sleeping in people's houses", an experience we are not used to. They knew how to make the atmosphere warm and natural, to the point that it was a real pleasure to share dinner with them in the evening. Jan, the chef, delighted us with her delicious and creative dishes, entirely gluten-free. We particularly appreciated the gluten-free cooking workshop she offers, an experience that is as exciting as it is enriching. A big thank you to Jan for his welcome and kindness. We will come back with great pleasure!

Review: We are a small group of coeliacs who spent 4 nights at La Goose in August. We can only recommend this beautiful place. It is a real little haven of peace surrounded by nature which offers the possibility of beautiful hikes, swimming in the river but also resting in the hammock in the garden, under the trees, near the donkeys. There is something for all ages and all desires. The stone house remains cool which is very pleasant in the middle of summer. The rooms are spacious and one of them even has an independent entrance. Jan and his little family made us very welcome at their home. There is serenity and human warmth and you quickly feel at home. We were able to enjoy excellent gluten-free meals, making us forget the pathology that unites us and even going so far as to consider it as an opportunity to experience such moments of life. In addition to his sympathy and his commitment to raising awareness, Jan is an inexhaustible source of information on nutrition. Through the discussions or the cooking workshops that she offers, she gently leads us to review our lifestyles and our diet. In short, we come back rested and different from the Goose and that’s for the better!

Review: Gluten free heaven + education in one place! Jan is extremely knowledgeable about food intolerances. She produced delicious meals for our group in her 100% gluten free kitchen. She was able to accommodate all 8 of us in her comfortable rooms and we had full board (3 meals a day). The surrounding mountains are beautiful for hiking, and we enjoyed visiting the nearby medieval village. We also did some cooking classes with Jan and I now have some great recipes and understanding of the principles of bread making that I’ll be able to put to use in my own kitchen. Thank you! Highly recommended.

Review: Just a little brunch on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In a magnificent and soothing setting, a warm, caring welcome and enriching exchanges. When you are celiac and don't always know how to manage it, you leave reassured and ready to try lots of recipes. Thank you Jan for these precious, simple moments and these delicious dishes. We'll come back!
