Review: Amazing place to get a great meal. Plus the menu is 100% gluten-free!

Review: Amazing gluten free offerings! The onion rings are genuinely better than most gluten containing one I've had before having to cut gluten out of my life. The poutine was so much bigger than expected and the gravy was top notch, quite rich but I won't complain because usually it's the opposite problem! Cannot wait to come back, this time in comfortable pants.

Review: I went to Selia for the first time the other night, and what a great place! It was my birthday, and I stopped in after work for some dinner. I haven't had onion rings since 2017, so I was excited. I had the Cowboy burger and onion rings, and OMG, they were so good. The waiter was awesome; he gave me a crème brûlée on the house for my birthday. When he brought it out, two other staff members came out to wish me a happy birthday with a candle. What a great experience! If you haven't gone to Selia yet, definitely check it out. I wish I had gotten the name of the server—great place and awesome staff. It's so nice to be able to eat somewhere without having to give the "I am celiac..." speech.

Review: Overall the experience was ok. The appetizers were the best part because they tasted delicious and were served hot and fresh. The service was the second best part, but it wasn't the best service we've ever had either, no fault to our server, the place was understaffed and he was overworked. The rest of the food either came out cold or underdone for everyone at the table. They had no high chairs for kids even though they had a kid's menu, and no change table in the bathroom either. There's very little separation between the bar and the restaurant, the bar had a hockey game playing so it was extremely loud. The server we had was nice but he was the only one serving and the restaurant was full. The food tasted okay, it wasn't the best gluten-free food we've had in Calgary. I think if the food was better it would be worth the price but we ended up paying over $30 a person and it was not worth that.
